Florida Gold Star Family Art Exhibit Opening

TALLAHASSEE –The Department of State’s Division of Cultural Affairs invites the press and public to a special opening reception honoring the Families of the Fallen that participated in the exhibit, Florida Gold Star Families, at the Gallery for Innovation and the Arts at the R.A. Gray Building, Friday, September 12 at 3:00 p.m. This exhibition showcases artwork that has been created by the mothers, fathers, spouses and siblings of active duty members who have been killed in Afghanistan. All of the deceased service members and their families are Floridians.
