Florida Historic Golf Trail Course of the Month: Bartow Golf Course
Secretary of State Ken Detzner has chosen Miami Springs Golf and Country Club as the featured course on the Florida Historic Golf Trail for the month of July. The historic Miami Springs Golf and Country Club is located in the city of Miami Springs in Miami-Dade County.

The Florida Department of State launched the Florida Historic Golf Trail program at Winter Park Golf and Country Club in Winter Park, Florida. The Florida Historic Golf Trail celebrates Florida’s early golf heritage from the 1890s through World War II, by featuring historic, publicly accessible golf courses that can still be played on today. Florida's Newly Listed National Register Property
Secretary of State Ken Detzner announced that nine properties have been listed on the National Register in 2017. Bo Lynn’s Grocery, St. Marks, the Coconut Grove Library, Miami, the Cox Family Log House, Gainesville, Devil’s Millhopper Geological State Park, Gainesville, the First Clewiston Post Office, Clewiston, the Naval Air Station Richmond Headquarters, Miami, Rose Hill Cemetery, Tarpon Springs, the Santa Rosa Hotel, Sebring and the Tallahassee Fire Station No. 2.
