    The Florida Department of State launched the Florida Historic Golf Trail program at Winter Park Golf and Country Club in Winter Park, Florida. The Florida Historic Golf Trail celebrates Florida’s early golf heritage from the 1890s through World War II, by featuring historic, publicly accessible golf courses that can still be played on today.     Florida's Newly Listed National Register Properties

    Secretary of State Ken Detzner announces the recent designation of National Register Historic Districts in Jacksonville and Pensacola. The Downtown Jacksonville Historic District in Duval County and Pensacola’s Palafox Historic District in Escambia County were recently listed on the National Park Service’s National Register of Historic Places.
