    Florida Historic Golf Trail

    The Florida Department of State launched the Florida Historic Golf Trail program at Winter Park Golf and Country Club in Winter Park, Florida. The Florida Historic Golf Trail celebrates Florida’s early golf heritage from the 1890s through World War II, by featuring historic, publicly accessible golf courses that can still be played on today.     Florida's Newly Listed National Register Properties

    Six Florida properties were recently listed in the National Park Service’s National Register of Historic Places. The Meyer-Davis House and Hasty Cottage in Volusia County, Hill Crest in Lake County, the Cabbage Key Historic District in Lee County, the Weil-Cassisi House in Alachua County, the Dan Branch House in Alachua County, and the Monument of States in Osceola County were all listed.
