Florida Historic Golf Trail Course of the Month: Florida Caverns Golf Club
Secretary of State Ken Detzner has chosen Florida Caverns Golf Club as the featured course on the Florida Historic Golf Trail for the month of September. The historic Florida Caverns Golf Club is located in the city of Marianna in Jackson County.

The Florida Department of State launched the Florida Historic Golf Trail program at Winter Park Golf and Country Club in Winter Park, Florida. The Florida Historic Golf Trail celebrates Florida’s early golf heritage from the 1890s through World War II, by featuring historic, publicly accessible golf courses that can still be played on today. Florida's Newly Listed National Register Property
Secretary of State Ken Detzner announced the listing of two properties on the National Register. "The Sneads Community House and Old Pump are two locally significant resources in the town of Sneads, and the Stephens House is a 19th century frame house constructed in the Folk Victorian style located near the city of Alachua."
