An important aspect of Collections is its very active loan program. Over 70,000 objects are currently on loan to over a 100 institutions and researchers. Collections prides itself on providing artifacts for exhibit to virtually every type of venue, from world class museums to local historical societies and to researchers affiliated with institutions of higher learning. If your institution is interested in borrowing artifacts from BAR, contact Marie Prentice at 850.245.6444 or firstname.lastname@example.org. To request an artifact loan, organizations must complete a General Facility Report, available here (pdf) which enables the appropriate selection of artifact type, based on a facility’s security level.
