RE:       Filing by Department of State explaining in-person absentee case is moot

The Florida Department of State today filed papers with the federal court in South Florida explaining that the in-person absentee case is moot. The filing states that the named counties (Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach) are already acting consistent with Florida law and the remedy requested in the suit.
