Dr. Alix Miller

Dr. Miller is President and CEO of Florida Trucking Association (FTA), the sole liaison between the industry, the Florida Legislature and state regulatory agencies. She holds a BA in English from Tulane University, an MFA in Dance and a PhD in Humanities, both from Florida State University. Dr. Miller was a professor at The University of Tennessee-Martin, where she created the first Dance Education major with K-12 licensure in the state; University of Georgia and Florida State University. She is currently on the Board of Directors for The Tallahassee Ballet. Dr. Miller danced professionally with the Albany Berkshire Ballet (NY) and Fort Wayne Ballet, and was Choreographer in Residence for Brooks and Company Dance in Atlanta.
