Broward Cultural Division Artist Selection Panel
|Deadline||July 2, 2021|
|Sponsor||Broward County Cultural Division|
|Location||Fort Lauderdale , FL|
Broward County’s Public Art & Design program invites qualified individuals to serve on Artist Selection Panels.
The Cultural Division’s Public Art & Design program was established in 1976 and commissions unique artworks for County buildings and facilities. The Artist Selection Panel plays a key role in the public art selection process.
An Artist Selection Panel is established for each public art project. The Panel recommends artists and the acquisition of artwork. Panels are comprised of at least five voting members, including arts professionals, a community representative, and one representative from the County agency at which the project will be located.
Individuals residing in Broward County with a strong interest or background in the visual arts are encouraged to apply. Panelists serve on a voluntary basis and do not receive compensation for their time or travel expenses. Applications are reviewed by Division staff and then recommended for approval by the Broward Cultural Council.
