Full-time, year-round position at South Florida State College in Avon Park, FL to coordinate the Volunteer Corps, Young People's Theatre and artist services. Coordinates all aspects of Young People's Theatre program.
Develops, coordinates, trains, and recruits volunteers to assist with all performances and events.
Coordinates all hotel and travel arrangements as per artists' contracts.
Coordinates all catering, amenities, and other support activities associated with Cultural Programs performances such as sponsor and VIP "meet and greets".
Assists with Artists' receptions and other special events associated with Cultural Programs Department such as Reveal Dinner and Backstage Scoops, etc.
Serves as House Manager for Matinee Series performances.
Serves as backstage security for Artist and Trending Now series of performances and special engagements.
Coordinates merchandise and concession sales for performances as needed, including the collection of sales tax and House Commission.
Performs typing, word processing and clerical functions, including, but not limited to: filing, department mail, copying, collating, answering telephone, and maintaining accurate departmental performances records, including assisting with sponsorship record keeping and mail outs.
Assists with the season ticket renewal process during the months of June, July, August and September. Assists in Box Office as needed.
Contributes to unit planning, assessment, and college institutional effectiveness efforts.
Acts in accordance with College policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Evening and weekend hours are required.
