Protecting and Preserving Your Creative Legacy

Join our friends from POBA-Where the Arts Live and the New Jersey State Council on the Arts for two conversations recorded February 23, 2016 at the NJ State Council for the Arts' Professional Development Roundtable for working artists on Protecting and Preserving Your Creative Legacy.

1. "Managing Your Creative Works and Copyrights," a talk with New York Public Library copyright and intellectual property expert, Greg Cram on Intellectual property rights, copyright, and artists' management of creative works. POBA Co-Managing Director Jennifer Cohen led the discussion.

2."Preserving Your Art," a talk with NYU Professor Glenn Wharton on physical art storage, digital art storage, information management for your art collection, and disaster preparation. POBA consultant Kenneth Schlesinger led the discussion with art conservator and professor Glenn Wharton.

POBA assists working artists in managing their own works for future preservation, viewing, and value as well as showcasing, promoting and preserving the creative legacies of deceased artists. The New Jersey State Council for the Arts improves the quality of life in NJ by helping the arts to flourish.
