The Division of Arts and Culture promotes arts and culture as essential to quality of life for all Floridians.
Retired and living in Tampa, David Reddy worked for Florida Folklife from 1987 to 1995. Projects that David worked on during his tenure as a state folklorist include the Florida Folk Heritage Awards, the Dudley Farm Project, the Florida Folk Arts Survey, the Sponge Industry Folk Arts Festival, and the Folk Arts Apprenticeship Program. Reddy also managed Rural Folklife Days and the Florida Folk Festival from 1992 to 1995.
