Leadership Development Workshop, January 27-28, 2020

Florida Main Street's 2020 Winter Leadership Development Workshop (formerly known as the 2020 Winter Quarterly Meeting) will be held in the capital city, Tallahassee, on January 27 - 28th!

Monday, January 27th, will be filled with educational sessions, such as safety training and funding information for rural communities. Tuesday, January 28th, is Capitol day and tours! Each Florida Main Street region will have their own display table, allowing each Main Street to highlight their district and any special events that help create a sense of space.

Make your hotel reservations as soon as possible, as legislative session is the busiest time of year! There is limited availability at the hotels listed below.

101 Training for New Executive Directors, January 29, 2020

101 Training will be held Wednesday, January 29th from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the R.A. Gray Building. This training is required for all new Executive Directors, and there is a limited quantity of tickets available. Priority will be given to Executive Directors that have not yet completed this training. Board members are welcome to attend.

 

Topics covered will include and introduction to National Main Street Center's Four-Point Approach©, an Executive Director workshop, and an introduction to grant writing workshop.
