DLIS Discussions

The Division hosts monthly, open discussions for library staff throughout Florida.

These online conversations typically focus on a particular topic, although the time may be used to discuss whatever the audience chooses.

November’s DLIS Discussion is canceled. Our last gathering for the 2021 calendar year will be December 13, after which we will return to our regularly scheduled meeting time of every third Monday afternoon of the month.

Library cooperative directors

The next meeting of the directors of Florida's public library cooperatives will take place Thursday, December 2, from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Eastern.

This meeting is by invitation only.

Municipal directors

This meeting is intended for public library directors at Florida's municipal libraries to have a forum to discuss the needs in their diverse communities and share common challenges and opportunities.
