Library Display Cases

For patrons who love vintage items and fine crafts, Crestview Public Library’s display cases offer a treasure trove.

Types of objects shown in the display cases include:

  • Porcelain pieces
  • Glasswork
  • Jewelry
  • Wood carvings
  • Memorabilia

In late 2014 the library featured artifacts and other goods from the Baker Block Museum, a living history museum and mercantile in nearby Baker. The exhibit included everything from old postcards and photographs to a set of miniature merchandise samples used by traveling salesmen.

A March 2014 exhibit focused on the artistry of the buttons collected by Don and Barb Lanier. Ranging widely in origin, material and theme, the tiny fashion ornaments gave visitors a fascinating glimpse into history.
