Fresh from Florida Memory
In 2019 as part of a between the Florida Memory program at the State Archives of Florida and the "Fresh From Florida" Marketing section at the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services the Fresh From Florida Memory Calendar was created.
Each month celebrated a Florida commodity with historical information and photographs from the State Archives' Florida Photographic Collection, as well as a delicious dish based on recipes from the collections of the State Library and Archives. The "Fresh From Florida" culinary team of Chef Justin Timineri and Chef Bridget Baxley prepared these dishes especially for the project. and the calendar included tear out cards of the recipes.
