March Program of the Month

Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announced today that the Main Street Zephyrhills has been designated the March 2020 Florida Main Street Program of the Month. Programs are selected based on their development achievements and participation in the Florida Main Street program.

"I am so impressed by Main Street Zephyrhills' growing success," said Secretary Lee. "Their district continues to build on the community's assets to celebrate and recognize their distinctive history and heritage."

February Program of the Month

Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announced today that the Lincoln Park Main Street has been designated the February 2020 Florida Main Street Program of the Month. Programs are selected based on their development achievements and participation in the Florida Main Street program.

"By implementing the National Main Street Center's Four Point Approach, Lincoln Park Main Street is working to revitalize its historic commercial properties while also preserving the significant cultural assets that define a sense of community," said Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee.

Florida Main Street Welcomes One New Community

Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announced today the designation of Eatonville as a Florida Main Street community. The designation provides technical assistance from the Florida Main Street Program to support local revitalization and preservation efforts.

I am happy to welcome Eatonville as the newest Florida Main Street community,” said Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee. “Eatonville’s designation as the nation’s first incorporated African-American town shows the determination of a community invested in their heritage. I look forward to working with them to rejuvenate their historic downtown.”

January Program of the Month

Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announced today that Apalachicola Main Street has been designated the January 2020 Florida Main Street Program of the Month. Programs are selected based on their development achievements and participation in the Florida Main Street program.

"Apalachicola Main Street's bountiful resources and historic charm have created a vibrant coastal community," said Secretary Lee. "I am impressed with their accomplishments and the dedication of their staff and volunteers."

December Program of the Month

Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announced today that MainStreet DeLand Association has been designated the December 2019 Florida Main Street Program of the Month. Programs are selected based on their development achievements and participation in the Florida Main Street program.

"Main Street DeLand Association is a well-established asset to their community," said Secretary Lee. "Their downtown district has helped cultivate a sense of place while also stimulating economic growth and prosperity."

November Program of the Month

Secretary of State Laurel M. Lee announced today that the Main Street Blountstown program has been designated the November 2019 Florida Main Street Program of the Month. Programs are selected based on their development achievements and participation in the Florida Main Street program.
