Florida has 67 counties. Each county has a Supervisor of Elections. Each Supervisor conducts elections within his or her county. Some municipal clerks may conduct their own local elections when not held in conjunction with a county or statewide election.

State Employees - Incentives to Serve as Poll Workers
A recent executive order (EO 2020-149) provides incentives to Florida’s state employees of the State Personnel System to serve as poll workers during the Primary Election on August 18, 2020, and the General Election on November 3, 2020. The incentives include, but are not limited to, receiving one hour of administrative leave for every hour of pre-election training for the 2020 Primary and/or General Election, for a maximum of 10 hours total. Additionally, state employees will receive 16 hours of administrative leave for each election that they serve as a poll worker. Please read the links below for more information.
